Meet Our Fleet
Starting in 2012, the introduction of 6 new Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans brought technology and efficiency to the streets of Chautauqua County. These super efficient and aerodynamic vehicles are a leader in pre-hospital transportation safety. The most recent addition, the Mercedes Benz EX Sprinter boasts an average fuel cost savings of about 12%. The 2015 Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans not only aid in helping us keep medical transportation costs down, but are eco-friendly. All cabinet materials are made of lightweight materials including fiberglass cabinet inserts and shatterproof Lexan doors. The interior LED lights utilize very low amounts of energy.

These Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans are not just fitted for economy. They are one of the best in its class for both patient and EMT comfort. The roof is a good 73 inches tall which allows EMT’s adequate room to continue care for the patient during transport. A separate heating and air system allows atmospheric stabilization in under 2 minutes for a comfortable patient transfer. The payload capacity is 2,000 pounds which allows for storage of needed supplies and transport of patient and up to 3 EMT personnel.

When making important decisions such as bringing on a new ambulance, safety is always a top priority. The Aerodynamic roof design is equipped with highly visible LED warning lights. The driver always has his eyes on the road because of the new “Heads-Up-Console” on the dashboard that allows the driver to have easy access to ambulance features, just to name a few.

So in the unfortunate event that you or a family member has to take a ride in one of these Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans, rest assured, you are riding in one of the top notch vehicles in the area.

Stryker Stair Chairs
The most commonly reported injury in the emergency medical professional field is an injury to the lower back. These injuries are often very expensive and can greatly impact quality of life. Thus in an effort to keep our employees safe, we equipped our team with Stryker Stair Chairs. These stair chairs have significantly reduced the risk of injury during a patient transport. This innovative technology allows an EMT to successfully transport a patient up or down a flight of stairs without actually lifting the patient. The patient is simply secured into the Stryker Stair Chair and with the guidance of a single EMT and minimal lifting, the patient is safely transported.
